I have the same upper on a 22/45. I was thinking of putting a can on mine as well, please keep us posted how it works out for you.

"cover the serial on that can..."--I used to think that it would matter for some reason, but I can't think of a reason that I NEED to cover it up.

Going to test a bunch of loads with that pistol and a tactical solutions 10-22 today, I'll keep you up to date.

The rifle and pistol had the same results:
Quietest
1. Aguila
2. CCI pistol match
3. Winchester super x
4. CCI green tag
5. CCI SGB
6. CCI minimags
7. Winchester wildcat

The Aguila sucks ass, but it was the quietest in the pistol and in the rifle. This is because it turned both into basically single shot guns.

The pistol match is what I will be buying in bulk as well as the Winchester super X. They were indistinguishable on the rifle but the pistol match was quieter on the pistol.
