I don't know if this has been brought up here or not but I just saw a commercial for a new reality TV series called Combat Pawn. It seems to be in a gun shop or a pawn shop that specializes in guns. I enjoy the Pawn Stars and the Hardcore Pawn shows now. This looked like a great show for the gun loving crowd.

I thought it was pretty... awful.

Takes place an hour from me. I want to go sit and watch one morning to see if they actually do tactically clear their parking lot for opening.

It's on tru tv channel. It's been on for a few weeks now... Good show.

I'm about 45 minutes away myself. I was there once to use their range and thought the guys that were there right then were pretty friendly. I looked at a few guns on my way out and didn't get bugged into buying or preached at about what I was holding which again is a plus. Not long after I was told they had started filming a reality show there. Haven't been back one time since. I would have and would have purchased a gun they had I wanted but I'm not going to be around the filming of any of that silly reality show BS.

Cant be any worse than the nbc show with celebs doing tactical excersises. Nick Lache is one of them lol.

IIRC, I bought a rifle from them when I was stationed at Bragg. Nice store, not pushy, not idiots.

Dumb show though, IMO.

Let me add that it is a shame that they started doing that. I like for instance Hardcore Pawn. That kind of drama is not the kind of thing I want to be around though when dealing with guns. I was at another local gun store recently and the talk at the range table led to that show and store. When I asked why they didn't have a reality show the employee answered, "Because we don't have enough drama here for one of those shows. Those guys are doing a good job of making themselves look like clowns." I haven't watched the show so I don't know if it's as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
