We are just a group of middle class guys supporting this as a hobby. The cost aren't to bad when its split between the group, but we do get a lot of fun out of doing it.

Kudos, I sure hope y'all can keep it going, I've checked it before every gun show for what I'm interested in since you posted the link -- made me jump on a SIG 716 deal.

I love the site. A small suggestion. Number the results 1-whatever. Probably not a big deal but I looked up a CZ83 recently and there is a seller on gunbroker that has about 50 of them for the same price. I wanted to check everyone out to compare condition. It was hard to go back and try to click on the next one I had not looked at without them being numbered.

Great site and thanks

The first few times I used the site it worked like a champ. Now it just hangs and and searches forever..........so I tried to resolve. Turns out No Script will block results or much any return. Looked like ajax.aspnnetcdn.com was being blocked.

Allowed and works. One small irritant, once I've typed in my search criteria, I can't change the text, backspace or anything.

But I'm loving this. THANKS!!

Thanks for the feedback and a very good idea! Check the site now, we didn't number them but instead the last one you clicked on's row will now have a red border going around it. This should make it a lot easier for you to keep track of what you viewed last.

perfect, thanks! Love it

Awesome job. Just awesome. Want something specific? I don't want a WASR-WASR10/63-Yugo M70AB2 - M70 O-PAP - M70 P-PAP - I want an M70B1 specifically.

Found immediately. Yay! :D

Again, fantastic job. How is this not a sticky yet?

Used today to search for a PMR-30 and many/most of the gunbroker and guns America were 'sold' or 'an offer has been made on this item'. In either case the items listed were unavailable. Not sure how this can be corrected but wanted you to be aware of it.

Add some advertising. No pop-ups mind you but the usual banner on each page like Gunblast, Boxotruth, Slickguns, and so on does. Every time I visit them I click on at least three advertisers. As someone who owns a few websites I can say they are not cheap if you pay for the good stuff that really makes a website work. And folks are getting a use out of your site so if they can't take the time to look at the ads and at least pick one then they have no room to complain when you guys stop self-funding the site.

Plus the more money the site takes in, the more you can invest in improving the site from a time or tech perspective. It's not an entirely original idea but it is a unique website at this time. I hope to see it grow in the future.

We are working with gunbroker to solve the issue. Right now their api is really lacking, and we do our best to remove sold auctions every 30 minutes. However, there are a lot of cases where the user will make changes after the auction goes live, such as the date it ends or adding a buy it now. There is no way for us to pick those up when a user does this. It is even worse with gunsamerica. They allow us to see listed items, but we have no way of knowing when an offer has been given as well as if the user accepted it. We can't get a response from them either.

We added a new search result layout this morning that breaks stuff up better and makes it more user friendly. Hopefully you guys like it. The other programmers have been working on adding stores. We are well over 50 total and will keep them going! Keep the feedback coming and thanks for the help!

I already sang your praises on a few other message boards, but I'm happy yo relief that Si used the tool for more than browsing the other day and actually found and purchased a pistol using gunwatcher! Kudos to you guys!

Thats great, glad to see you were able to find what you were looking for. Also appreciate the help spreading the word! thanks!

we have been extremely hard at work over the past few months. Just wanted to give you guys an update. you can now search for class 3 items(silencers, sbr's, full autos) and magazines on the site. Hope everyone enjoys the updates!
Thanks for all the feedback you guys have given us, we appreciate it.

this is awesome. And, it needs to be back in the top threads for more attention...

How did I ever miss this site last winter?

My wife is right - I need to pay more attention (although I can guarantee she is not talking about firearms when she makes that comment).

http://www.gunwatcher.com/ works really sweet. Thanks to gunwatcher for the dedication that went into it, and thanks to 1894 and george burns for bumping it back to the top this week.
