Depends on what I'm doing. I picked .22 LR,.38 spc, .357 mag and .44 mag. Now if you ment for edc that is .38 spc and .357 mag.

I'm suprised that the .40S&W is so far behind both 9mm and .45ACP in the poll. I don't have one but based on the level of support it recieves in any discussion of caliber choices I though it would put in a better showing.

I carry a Ruger Blackhawk in either .45 Colt or .357 Magnum around 95% of the time. The other five percent it is a Ruger LCP in .380 ACP.

I usually carry a .32ACP

My carry needs are based on what I can conceal when I am off duty.

In cargo pants or loose fitting casual slacks, I will carry my SIG 232 in .380ACP. If that is too large, then I go down a notch to my WALTHER PPK or further down to my BERETTA Tomcat in .32ACP.

I go with the largest gun I can conceal and the difference between the PPK and the Tomcat is basically in the control and practical accuracy that I can achieve with a slightly larger gun.
