New wood for the Colt Commander

How does it shoot? Looks like the replacement rear sight is too high for the stock front. To each his own, but I'd prefer a set of grips that matched the patina on the gun.

Shoots dead on at 20 yards holding at 6 o`clock.
But the small sights are hard to see, or I`m just spoiled by more modern sights.

I LIKE. Looks nice.

(if we are going to be spoilers.. ummm line up the screw heads with the wood) :D

If that's an MMC rear sight, with the standard factory front sight, then I have the exact same one on my Combat Commander. Mine also shoots to center at 7 yards with a six o'clock hold, with a definite preference for 185 to 200 gr. ammo. And yes, that front sight is hard to see but the gun is so incredibly accurate that I don't want to change it.

I like the new grips too. What kind of wood is that?
