I just saw the talo distributor birdshead. Too good of a deal with wood grips and a free leather holster so I ordered one.
My crystal ball sees the 3.75" plowhandle version possibly biting into Bearcat sales quite a bit.
Or 100, maybe even 1000. They've been selling the hell out of Wranglers. They probably sell 15 wranglers for every bearcat, so they are likely not too concerned.

I'm glad they're finally doing something to cut into Heritage sales and doing it better.I lament that ruger seams to be shifting all their focus to making the cheapest guns they can, but if you are going to make a cheap gun you should still make it a good gun, and I think ruger does a better job at making a good cheap gun than anyone else out there.

The Wrangler's a better gun but I like the fact that serviceable firearms like the ones Heritage and Hi-Point make are available and affordable for most people, regardless of their financial means.

Yep, pretty much!Wasn't making a cheap, but damn good gun what Ruger was built upon? The Standard Model- tubular receiver, stamped and welded grip frame, ect.
