There is a New York City Gun buckback set for April the 25th. I saw posters for it getting on the 4 train at Woodlawn this morning. I will try and get a poster or a picture of it and post it tomorrow. But aside from that . . .
Does anyone know the laws on FTF purchases in New York City?
Is it legal to buy a rifle in NYC without a NYC rifle "permit" if you dont live in the city?
I just though of this too, I'd have to take the train down their, is it legal to travel with a firearm on the NYC subway? (Funny thing too, from my breif glance at the poster it seemed the only requirment is that the gun be brought in a bag of some sort, paper or plastic is acceptable. No mention of it unloaded lol)
I wanted to go down to a buy back and possibly pick up a new firearm or two, their only paying $100 for a rifle I belive. I dont know any of these answers and heck it may not even be possible for me to do this but I always had the urge to go to one of these buy backs and try to pick something up for myself, but they never seemed to come around.
