Put I a rear end in a jeep grand Cherokee today took about 4 hours of my day. Wish I was hunting instead.

Supposed to be just am showers down here, but windy. More rain on Sunday.

It is supose to rain here tomorrow, if it isn't to heavy I will take a strool from where I have been hunting threw the woods to the next road. I have to look at the map and see where abouts I want to come out.

We quarted up my brothers doe and started processing it. Tomorrow night is chicken wings at the Hillcrest American Legion. When we get back to his place we will cut more up and start deer jerky.

Maybe Monday we should all get together to hunt.
Bert will you have time durring the week?
This Saturday is my oldest sons 40th B-day and we will be doing Thanksgiving diner at 5pm.

Jim's doe had close to two inches of fat on it's hind end by the tail.
My sons doe about eight miles away only had a little fat, both last years deer.

I'm not sure. I usually go out thanksgiving morning. Other than that I can't say yet hopefully he'll shut down for the whole weekend.

Congrats on the doe. We are going to cut up a hind quarter tonight and the other one tomorrow night..
Did you skin yours yet?
Jim's doe had a lot of fat on it.




We could of shot two does today at different spots and gave them a freepass. I want to get this one cut up before taking another.
Tomorrow night the dehydorator will be drying some jerky.

I picked up a j.c higgins model 20 pump 12ga that was cut down. And a old marlin semi auto 22 have to see what model it is. Got a nice old weaver marksman 3-9 as Well. You guys pick up any guns recently or any gun stuff.

The old ruger 77 7 mauser pulled through again today. I will be going back to using speer bullets in it, the Sierra ph are just to much money. The They shoot great and have been very consistent on deer.

I've found when hunting when your body says no it doesn't make for a enjoyable hunt, so maybe get some sleep if possible and get out there lunch time, I've shot a lot of deer that way.
