After hitting every gun shop in Grand Rapids, I finally found a youth rifle for my son. I got him a Savage model 11 with synthetic stock, scope, and accu-trigger for $399. No other dealer had any youth models, so I don't have anyone local to compare prices with. The online prices I saw for this gun were all over $500, so I believe I got a steal on it. I was planning on it being a Christmas present, but I don't think I can wait that long!!! His birthday is at the end of September, so looks like it will be a b-day gift!
