I agree, that's cool, BUT I would still would want the AR-15 too. This looks to good to be Kalif-a-stan legal.

Rimfires are California-legal.

Hell, so are AR's, as long as you put on a shrouded mag release (bullet button).

I have seen those at my local dealer. If I could remove the fake suppressor and install one of mine I would be interested. How does it shoot?

I got all the parts at www.evike.com, and its really accurate, the1st one i had i installed a 3x9 bushnell and i can make quarter size groups at 50yds using the cheap bulk ammo..the fake suppressor can be removed its just screwed on the barrel just not sure if you can juse a real one, I can buy it here if i have the federal stamp of $200 but I CAN NOT shoot it here in WA state..go figure that one out..

With that title, I figured there would be pictures of an AK.

Funny I was thinking the same thing, AK, saiga, maybe mini-14. Looks like a fun little plinker though that is cheap to feed.

Looks nifty! How long did the other stuff take you to install?

And, almost as important--how many "big capacity" mags and such do you have for it, and how many bricks of ammo?

Congrats! I love my GSG-5, I think you will love yours to!

How do you like the adjustable stock? I just ordered one for mine the other day, I should have it early next week.

eightball it doesn't take long at all, 5 to 10 mins for both, i have 2 22rd mag so far and a 10rounder just saving up for more mags, well about the ammo, its a 22 so every time i go to walmart i get one box or 2 or 3 just in case they go up in prices again..

Where did you find one. Every shop I went to were out and their distributors were out. That and the waiting lists everywhere for them. I was told I probably couldnt get one for 6 months. So I ended up getting an AK from my brother in law. He's not a shooter and has put maybe 100 rounds through it in 3 years. Plus he just bought his first house and wanted some extra cash.

if you wish to get an optics mount that is compatible, go to http://www.hkparts.net and purchase the Lo-Pro MFI mount. it has worked wonders for me and i have not had one single problem with it staying tight despite the fact it takes 4 screws to tighten down. it stays put.

FYI, the optics mount in that picture is not the same, i had to learn through 'trial and error'. but i DID buy the above mount and it does not let me down

cool, how accurate are these compared to a 10/22?
Grizfire, i could not possibly compare this to a 10/22. this is for fun and spray-n-pray type work. the 10/22 makes rimfire shooting an art. it IS accurate, no doubt, but dont count on small groups like you could with the Ruger.

cgrunt my dealer said that he is getting more next week, i'll send you an pm once he gets them, he said he is getting 6 rifles and atleast 3 of the pistols..we are in wa state ..

pgeleven what kind of red dot is that??I need another for my AR15 or my GSG-pk..

vikz - it is a Trijicon reflex amber triangle. it is a great sight for the range but i wouldnt trust it for home defense, too hard to pick up in changing light (going from room-to-room). i do love it but in retrospect if i could do it all over i would have slapped on an Aimpoint. but then again, thats my opinion

heres the link for it at Midway...

I really want one of those. Hopefully I'll be able to find one down the road for a reasonable price.

Here is the final product of my GSG5..BSA sweet 22 scope(2x7x40) with some kinda BDC..I tried the Bushnell red dot was acting weird so i will have to send it back to them on monday, but for now this thing is done!!just have to zero later today and see how it does at 50yds and 100yds..
