Right now in the safe I have a WWI 1911 carbonia blue repro, a 5.5" nickel plated SAA in .45 Colt, and an 1861 Navy repro (NOT the Signature Series).
Thinking about adding another Colt for the kids/grandkids to fight over.
Would a new, blued Gold Cup National Match be a good addition? It's the one with the spur hammer, rounded slide top (no rib) and newer Colt rear sight (looks like a
Bo-Mar, not an Elliason)
Would a case-colored blue 4.75" SAA be better?
Or maybe an old Det. Spec. new in the box??
I'd like stay in the $1200 range.
I would also consider the Colt CCG, Concealed Carry Government, which I can get NIB for $1130.
The final option is a Special Combat Government, but those are going for $2000, and for that money I'd rather have an LB TRS.
