I say go for it.

It'll rile up the anti taurus guys and the anti pimp guys all at the same time. How could you ask for more?

Man, that is wrong in sooo many ways.

But, if you put some spinners on it, maybe...

No, no, no, ur doin it rong.

Two bit dictators have their pistols entirely gold plated, not just a few parts.

I remember that movie. Nothing like a fully gold-plated AK to yell "steezin" fo no reezin'..."

I wouldnt mind gold on a different gun. Not because I dislike Taurus, because I dont think the 85 is a good looking revolver.

I have fantasized about an all gold plated handgun ever since seeing "Big Trouble in Little China" as a kid. That was dope how that one guy (commonly used actor in many Hollywood productions where there is call for an Asian actor) had a pair of matching gold 44 revolvers! Yeah, I got a little pimp in me perhaps, but I don't think that takes away from my good old fashioned rural loving values. If I was going to blow money on a gold weapon, it would probably have to be something spectacular in the first place though, which in my opinion excludes a Taurus.

I voted no, but I have no problem with gold on a revolver. This specimen in particular looks cheap. What's the point of gold? Generally, it's to make things look nice and expensive. Taurus fell pretty short on that.

There are some beautiful golden revolvers out there, but sorry, that thing just looks cheap.

It may be the pictures, but those look more yellow/coppery than golden.

If they actually look gold....I might consider one.

A Pimp gun would have pearloid handles, iced out body with saphhires as the sight dots, and the gold parts, as well as gold plating in the cylinder flutes. Fire it once and see the rhinestones or cubic zirconium fly.

That pearl and stainless one actually looks good. It'd make a good car gun for my '67 Thunderbird.

:D

But seriously, yeah, I'm digging it.

Patton would HATE it.

Yeah, we all know what he said about pearl grips. I think this one would fit into the same category. I would give a lady one of the new pink handguns before I'd give this one to anyone. And I most certainly wouldn't carry it unless it was the only thing I had.
