I went in the other day, not gonna leave without one. But my budget goal was around $200-250; kinda low, but I was looking for a used non-smith lightweight. They had none in the Buda store, but the salesman went online to their (Cabelas Gun Library) database that had every used .38 snubbie in every store; still didn't find what I wanted, but the salesman called the other stores that had something interesting looking & I talked to the Cabelas guy where ever that gun was. Got very tempted as they had a 4" Diamondback for $250 (as I recall) in one store. If I would have found one, they'da shipped it to Buda & I could have had a better look, and gotten a bargin picking from over +200 guns. Finally bought a Taurus Lightweight they had in stock for $300.00; first Ltwt snubbie & I love it! Ready to trade my KT P-11 for another one. Anyway, if your looking for a shooter, or collectable gun, go to one of their stores during the week when they're not busy & hopefully you'll get the same good service. I know I spent at least 45 minutes looking online at other used guns befor I bought that new one.

oh,

believe you me, I was tempted; but I really needed a snubbie. I think you can contact them if you're really interested in the particulars. Cabelas usually price their guns fairly, so there may have been something with the gun to price it so.

I had a similar very positive experience buying a gun from Cabelas. They really stand behind their products also.
