No to tupperware, so USP and Glock are off the list. No to a slide mounted decocker / safety, sorry Beretta. So it is between the SIG and HP, the HP is from another era, little has been done to modernze it's function. While a classic it is not a 1911, and there is nothing that it can do that a 9mm 1911 cannot do better IMO. SIG P226 a big ugly functional weapon, you can have pretty, give me a SIG. I do own the Beretta, G34 Glock and a H&K USP Expert, if I need a weapon I pick up the SIG.

Modernize the function of the HP? Please explain how you modernize what has already been perfected?

OK, I am taking a deep breath here

First and foremost, eliminate the magazine interlock entirely and never speak of it again

Next, extend the tang out about 1/4" more to keep people's webbing out of the hammer path

Then, make a decent set of adjustable sights for it that dont set so high above the slide

Maybe make a ring hammer standard

Put a weaker mainspring in it

Make the trigger a tad better (this is helped with the mag safety deleted)

Get rid of the 40 caliber option

Im sure there is more.

Talking looks--the choices are gamed a little: You gave the HP some nice wood grips, frame mounted safety, adj sights but also an UGLY way tall front to match the adj rear.

The H&K "WITH" some pretty wood grips and low profile adj rear sights would be close.

Beretta

'others'.

What? Helllloooooo. The Browning HP without question. Not only was John Browning a mechanical genius but he also had a great eye for lines (excepting maybe the BAR :D). Not that the others are NOT good looking. But you said looks the BEST. The BHP is a beautiful pistol.

I know, you just wanted to see the Glock get beat up...:barf:

HP,SIG,Beretta,USP, oh there's the Glock. The SIG and Beretta were a toss up for 2nd as far as looks go.

But the heavier slide of the .40 upgrade is the only thing keeping the Hi-Power from battering it's slide to death under constant use it wasn't designed for

OK, I'll bite. How do you add pretty wood to a polymer frame?. Now I will add that a P7 with a nice set of Walnut Nills grips is very pretty

1) Beretta ( Just Made For Me! ) :)
2) BHP
3) SIG
4) USP
5) :scrutiny:
6)
7) :p
8) ;)
9)
10)Crock! .... oops! I mean Glock! Sorry!

Now that was uncalled for...... :uhoh:

BHP then Sig, hate the glock, hk's like the hot rich cheelearder at school, expensive to take out, and a horrible kisser! lol, im mean trigger!:neener:

This has to be one of the best polls ever. I own a Glock and a Browning Hi-Power and have sent many rounds down range with a Beretta. I voted the BHP best looking but carry the Glock more often.

Just because your paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!:D

Pshaw!

Pure looks? D!
The straight lines are pretty darned cool looking.

Second would be the Beretta. Because it's sleek.
