Price seems a bit high for a gun just in "good" condition. Figure in shipping and transfer fee and you are paying close to $400.00 mark.

The nickel finish on the guns they are showing looks dull. They do not reflect the light like factory bright nickel does. My biggest concern is how tight the nickel finish is on the gun (i.e. flaking / peeling). I am also curious what the frame looks like under the grips.

At that price for a gun just rated as "good condition" I would pass.

Price seems a might high for "good" condition. Also have some concern as well in regards to the rather dull appearance of the nickel plating. Almost looks more like stainless steel.

Those don't look like nickel. They look like the have been hard chromed. So, although its a good finish, that's pretty high for a refinished gun. That has alot of wear since the refinish.

Gonna mimic here a little bit.

Seems like they'd have to be "outstanding" internally for me to pop for $350+ on these.

Is that nickel or chrome? Let's go wiht nickel as stated.

My greatest concern is the state of the original finish prior to having been "nickeled".

Seems like there was a previously, quite ugly gun under there before the nickel was applied.

Kinda, "third worldy" looking to me.

I agree, doesn't look like nickle. If they are factory nickle, they will be stamped as such.
The bottom one in the pic looks buffed by the logo stamp.
Price a little high, but not bad.

I thought they were too much as well but if they're out of stock someone else didn't think so.

J&G Sales in Prescott, AZ has also picked up a lot of .38 Special/blue/4" with either pencil or heavy barrels. Condition is good to very good, based on cosmetics. Finish appears to be original. Price is about the same as quoted here.

At the asking price I'd say they were at the high end of the market, but face it - the market keeps going up. It's the value of money that's going down. :banghead:
