1911 Selection Help

If you need your parts in marked baggies maybe you shouldn't be working on a 1911. I have had nothing but good with the Fusion I have. Great service too. Kind of odd though, my unmarked parts bags look just like parts that could have come from higher end marked ziplocks.

If I'm the one who's able to identify the parts in the marked baggies and they're not what does that say about Fusion? Maybe I'm not the one who shouldn't be working on 1911s, natch?

I just did the complete gun with the extras I requested. It was very reasonable and I have not had a single issue with the pistol

Well I just got off the phone and was told that Ed Brown refused to build my gun because I wanted the frame black instead of the traditional black slide. I am at a loss for words... Has anyone received this type of response? I am buying two guns at the same time...

I have no first hand experience, but I have heard the "my way or the highway" referenced to Ed Brown customer service before.

Oh well, I guess it is their option on what work they will take on. I am going to skip the two tone and try to get one all stainless.
