My .30-06 Savage came with a cheapo Simmons 3-9x40, and I'm wanting to upgrade to something better.
Can anybody enlighten me as to the real world differences between these scopes? I'm looking for a camo scope to match my rifle, so the Nikon Prostaff and Buckmasters 3-9x40 examples seem to fit that criteria.
The ProStaff seems to get rave reviews both here on THR, and in the customer reviews on Cabelas' website. The Buckmasters model doesnt seem to get talked about as much, and I'm very interested in hearing more about it.
The price difference is not a major consideration, although I would not object to saving a few dollars.
Thanks!
