Nill made these excellent grips on my P232. These logoed grips are hard to find now but I was lucky enough to find two sets so I could give one to my brother for his birthday. He liked.
I agree 100%. Nill's are quality all over. Both pair that I have fit like they had my guns to fit them on. I don't have pics on hand, but they are a Beretta 92FS and CZ75, both which are receiving trigger work at the moment. I heartily recommend Nill for anyone considering grips way above average.
the original colt grips gave me a skin graft every time I used them so they had to go and these fit my hand like a glove - they make a great pistol even better
the marks on the CCC were already there when I bought it, limited 2nd hand market here in Luxembourg and it broke my heart to see it...bought it all the same as I'd wait years upon years for a satin nickel colt to come up again.
DasFriek "Worst Idiot mark ive ever seen on a 1911, I didn't even know it was possible to hit the slide like that!"
Well...Look at it this way....the slide stop does go all the way around....so there is quite a few degrees of rotation that didn't touch. Could have rotated it all the way around and completed the circle.
I have only seen that once before and it was on an otherwise pristine National Match. Ouch.
Nils does make some amazing stuff. I find the Sig grips to be very appealing to me. But...I carry my Sigs and I would be crying if I nicked some of that perfect checkering. Now if I had a nice safe queen...
