The more I search for an answer the more confused I get. What is the maximum capacity allowed for a pump shotgun in New Jersey? While searching through the NJ Firearms legal mumbo jumbo I only see reference to semi-auto shotguns. A semi-auto shotgun can not exceed 6 rounds. Nothing said about a pump shotgun. Is the limit 6 rounds for both? Thanks.

Go here and click on AGs guidelines. There is no restrictions on pump shotguns only semi auto. I guess if you had about a 42" barrel you could have 15 rd pump shotgun.
