Just want to know if anybody out there has seen this kind of Norinco 1911 model. This is called the 1911 Cavalry model by Norinco. The pistol has no made in China , Norinco brand & logo markings. The outer finish is better than the milspec Norinco 1911A1 model, sports a videki style trigger, combat hammer and a beavertail grip safety.
Only markings are :
1911 CAVALRY on the left side of the slide
GOVERNMENT MODEL on the right side of the slide
FORGED STEEL on the right front side of the frame
Serial No. on the left side of the frame, mine is 10011xx
Got this pistol for around US$ 300 ( around Php 16T here in the Phils.).
Is it possible that this gun is being exported in the US?
Here's the picture, (the grips & mainspring housing have been replaced)
