Gentlemen,
If some of the guys on these M1 Garand groups could do a round table type setup in their area it might be fun. Civil War groups get together at someone's home or a place once a month to talk about the subject at hand, in our case the M1 Garand Rifle. Many guys drive miles to get to a gun show. So what about guys who live near each other starting a round table where you would go and have a meeting to talk about the M1. If it was held at a gun club or someone's house you could, if the law allows, bring your M1 to the group and do a show-and-tell type deal. You could trade data or parts. Get a speaker to give info on his or her area of knowledge. If you started a deal like this you could have a fund for coffee and danish, I mean the cake not the rifle. It just might catch on. What do you guys think?
