Holster made by my friend Jason.

Did these phtoos have tatoos in them previously, or something?

Always good work, Oleg.

Long Sleeves

She has a tattoo on her right arm.

This shows in the pics in the other thread showing her.

The long sleeves cover the tat.

Jason's new to holster making isn't he. He doesn't know how to sew leather either. Tell him to go to Tandy's for a holster making book, leather sewing instruction and some leather dye.
A properly made and fitted leather holster isn't hard to make. Then again, you can do it too.

Pistol-packin' Mama! Sweet!

I like this. Every pregnant woman should be carrying. In fact, every woman should be. These are very nice. Nice message that is.

I've liked all these photos. I don't understand the negative comments about the tats, but not the piercings. I'm not a fan of either tats or piercings, but so what? Seems like Oleg's point is that those who are have all the same reasons to carry as those who aren't. Excellent point.

Great shots, Oleg ... all of them.

Wow!
Nice matched set.
Good mix of subject and background colors... not too wordy....high impact message....and it's for the children!
I'd give it a 10 :)

After all, she's shooting for two now. :D

Every pregnant woman should be carrying.

Whoa! Not ALL pregnant women should be carrying. Some of them get a little, OK a lot, emotional and tempermental. Their were times I was worried about my wife having a fork when she was in the room with me!:D

Of course I am joking, maybe. I do agree all women should carry. And great work Oleg. I especially like the second poster.

Oleg, try this variant--

The second picture (drawing) with the text of the third.

IMO, the result is somewhat more subtle. I'd like to believe it could become an iconic poster for the current twenty- and thirty-somethings, whatever they're called.

Less text, much better. More powerful letting the images do the talking.

My biggest gripe with your posters is that some of them are very wordy. Looks like you are taking note and working on that.

They're both great. Better than the previous set of posters. These are ones I'd expect to see on a billboard or something.

Have you thought about making billboard-proportioned posters that local RKBA groups could pay to put on interstates and whatnot?

You seem to think Oleg's "point" is that "decorated" people are just like "undecorated" people. I thought the purpose of the posters was to convince the undecided of the right to bear arms. If he's targeting a particular crowd that likes tats and piercings, he's probably on the right track. But since I assumed he intended these posters for a general audience, I pointed out that the tats would be an unnecessary stumbling block for some of those undecideds. I have the same opinion of the top poster. If it's for a general audience, the piercings will be off-putting to a lot of people that might have been reached otherwise.

In the second, the piercings are barely noticable.

Oleg knows how to do the variants--

e.g., to accomodate what elevenmike says.

Regardless of the target audience, I think there is a need for different layouts--e.g., the traditional vertical poster and the billboard type.

And, a variant on the billboard type would be a header layout for use on websites. Done subtly and with large prints, that header/footer could find its way onto innumerable RTKBA sites.

Could this variant be an income generator for you, Oleg? I really think you are close to creating that iconic RTKBA image for a whole generation--one with real staying power.

I am still carrying a leather holster made by Jason in 2000! It's no worse for the daily use. I'd say he knows leather pretty well.

Oleg, I think tattoos represent brotherhood (especialy since I have 4 RKBA type tattoos), so I think you should hedge your bets and do both, one with and one without.

I like the composition and wording, but I'm not sure about the expression. She seems to have a very flat blank expression and I don't think this reaches out to people as well as a more involved model would.
