I have an old Rem 870 i got cheap and am in the process of tacticooling it. I Am adding a Knoxx stock, mag tube extension and cutting the barrel down to 18.5.

I am going to use a paint finish on all the external parts including the magazine tube where the cocking handle slides and the charging arms as well as the bolt because it is polished shiney.. I want to use a coating that will not scratch or wear and show wear marks like the blueing is now on the magazine tube and such. Im looking at a few products. I have a sand blaster, compressor, small spray gun and an airbrush that Im quite proficient with.

I cant decide between CERA-KOTE, GUN-KOTE, or Liquid Teflon/Moly. All products from Brownells.

Not too worried about ease of application as much as durability.
Anybody familiar with these products?

Ok, thanks for all the replies. Looks like its a toss up now between Cera-Kote and Brownells Teflon Moly.

Any pros/ cons of each?

I have been using Cerakote for several years and am very pleased with its performance.
In the past I have used Norrell's moly-resin and Gun-Kote.
