Norinco SKS Side Rail Scope Mount... ?

I got a Norinco SKS a while back and dropped it into a Tapco stock without giving it a second thought. At the time it had a receiver cover with scope mounts, but I replaced that recently with a regular receiver cover. I had a little free time this weekend, so I started refinishing the old nasty wood stock. My plan is to put the gun back into the wood stock and take her out hunting this season. However, I was planning on adding a Choate scope mount to the left side of the receiver - but as you can see, my Norinco has the factory side rail. That would be great if I could locate the actual scope mounts. However, they seem to be nonexistent - the only info I can find is that Norinco put these on their 'Cowboy Companion' and 'Sharpshooter' models. But alas, none seem to be available.

So my question is this: does anyone know of where I might be able to find the mounts, or does anyone have a set they could sell me? If that fails, I want to remove the rail and put a Choate mount on it - has anyone removed this particular type of side rail before?

If you can find an old PSO-1 ; would that fit the side rail???I seem to recall the Type 89 was a similar(albeit 2.75 power) animal;meant to mount on th estandard AK type bracket.
