Norinco SKS what is it worth??

I have a oppertunity to trade my homebuilt romanian g series ak47 I built on a Vulcan arms reciever for a nice norinco sks. It has no mag and a krappy Draganov style stock, but the bluing looks super and it is nice and tight. Looks like less then 100 rounds has been fired through it. I dont have much money in my AK and am thinking this would be a good trade. He just wants a AK bad. And he wants mine. What do I do.

A Norinco in excelent condition will bring $250. Unfired(unissued) would bring more. All depending on the area. Your's is not a "standard" confiquration and neither is his. Probably straight across with him kicking in a case of your favorite malted beverage may be in order. All things being equal, he wants yours more than you want his!

about $130 in the condition ya describe, at least thats what we can get em for in bubbafied condition around AZ for

Then I guess my answer is going to be no then. My AK may be a hoge poge of parts, but I see them go for guite a bit more than that. And I can say "I made this from a parts kit" Parts kits are getting scarce and expensive. Thanks BATF. You have contributed well to our inflation rate!!

You could ask him to purchase compliance parts (gas tube and piston), plus a Tapco T6 and a couple Tapco 20 mags to make the deal more even. Good condition Norincos are very nice.

Man how I regret not buying up a stock of Norincos when they were $75 each and thicker than dog hair!
