What is more fun to shoot, AK47 or SKS?

Now if you'll be kind enough to explain why being able to "send 30 rounds downrange" so fast is that important? I own both, and there is no question that if you are talking about mowing through your ammo supply the AK has the advantage, as long as you have a stack of pre-loaded magazines at your disposal.
If we, for some foolish reason, decided to see who could send 300 rounds downrange most quickly; an AK shooter would win only as long as he had 10 loaded magazines at his disposal. An SKS man who took the time to learn to properly reload from stripper clips will be shooting nearly continuously while the AK man is busy thumbing rounds into magazines.
Also, as long as we're on the topic for the nth time, I'd prefer to carry 300 rounds in stripper clips over 300 rounds in those durable_but heavy_steel AK magazines. I also find the SKS easier to shoot from prone and better for bayoneting, as long as we are going to examine things that are of fairly minimal importance to a bunch of guys who are overwhelmingly going to do nothing but play with the gun at a range.

I love my SKS. The smell of the cosmoline that's still engrained in the stock, the heavy feel, the fact I can use it in bolt-action mode to avoid searching for my brass that I reload for it.....::sigh::

I've never fired an AK-47, but my SKS is a hoot to shoot. I prefer the longer, more traditional stock and the longer sight radius.
