Trying to get ammo for the NAA cap and ball guns was a challenge. Yes there is buckshot and stuff like that but I wanted the 22 ammo.

I found a company that makes a 22 short bullet mold that is close to the NAA round.

The one on the right is an NAA round the one the left is from the mold.
The owner sent me some sample bullets to make sure that they work in the Companions..before I ordered the mold.
Home run... these work perfectly in the Companion and the Super Companion and shoot just fine!!

Are they a better deal than buying NAA bullets?

No, not a better deal in the short run
A person would have to buy 2500 rounds from NAA to equal the cost of the mold. But I dont drink or smoke and dont have to ask her for permission.. I just wanted the mold.

And NAA has been out of stock for a while now.

I poured 200 bullets Sunday... a little lead goes a long way for the 22 short bullets.

I see that he also sells the a double cavity mold to make the original Walker bullet.

The one that I got is a double cavity 22 short heeled mold. The bullets fit perfectly in my NAA Companion and my Super Campanion. I am really happy with it.
