Hello all,
I was wondering if one of you legal eagles could help me w/ some legalese vis a vis North Carolina law for purchasing a shotgun through somewhere like impactguns.com or gunbroker.com

What I want to do is purchase the long gun online, have it shipped to my local FLL Holder and be done with it. I read through the NC law that i found on the ATF website here:

http://www.atf.gov/firearms/statelaws/23rdedition/ncarolina.pdf

and I can't really get a clear idea if this is legal. I assume it is, but I just want to be sure. Specifically I am curious as to this section:

Article 53A. Other Firearms

14-409.10. Purchase of rifles and shotguns
out of State. It shall be lawful for citizens of this
State to purchase rifles and shotguns and ammunition
therefor in states contiguous to this
State.

Now, I know this is basically saying that it's fine for me to drive up to Virginia, buy a shotgun and bring it back. But I can't really find anything regarding the internet transfer to my dealer.

Again - I'm sure it's fine, but I just wanted to check if anyone has purchased longguns online in NC. thanks!
