This news story aired this Thursday morning on All Things Considered. It can be played with Real Audio or Windows media player. It is rare that the more liberal media outlets actually get anyone into their stories who know anything about firearms. This story still uses liberal connotations and loaded terms though so you can tell which side their bread gets buttered on.
I noticed one blatant factual error, "Automatic weapons may be against the law in the United States...."

Hill Battle Brews over Assault Weapons
Congress is weighing whether to renew a ban on certain assault-style weapons that is due to expire in September. Gun control advocates on Capitol Hill say renewal is essential, but both supporters and opponents of the ban agree that so far, it has failed to work as intended. NPR's Larry Abramson reports.
