My last comment on the subject:
I have no reason to lie. None whatsoever. I've had my own problems with the NRA of late, and if they screwed the pooch I'd say something. I cannot, as the California Field Rep for CCRKBA, endorse one candidate or the other. I can state my personal preference as ME, but not on behalf of the org I work for.
Speaking personally, based on information that's been slipped to me, of the top four contenders (Gray, Cruz, Tom and Arnold), two of those four are pro-gun, one in stealth mode. Well, y'all know it isn't Davis so that's no biggie. I can't tell you who, or how I know, because if I told you what the datapoint is, you'd know who.
That's the truth. It's not speculation, the evidence is pretty freakin' solid.
I wish to hell I could share.

You are mistaken and any information you've been slipped IMHO is misinformation designed to do one thing. Sway the pro-gun folks into either not voting or voting for the grabber.
I'm not a Californian but if I was I'd be voting for Tom, the only semi-honest man in the bunch of likely winners. You'll never get another chance where 20% or so of the total vote will get you a new governor. It's now or never California.

Folks, I've already closed two threads this morning where Angel's disagreement with Jim had led to complications. This is about to become the third.
LET ME REPEAT: We do NOT flame or attack individuals here; we disagree with arguments. I'm sorry to see that Angel has taken to public vilification of individuals on his Web site. This is not the approach we have taken, are taking, or will ever take on The High Road. Jim, congratulations on a fairly restrained post on your blog. That's much more in line with the way we do things here.
