I have several cars and they all have the NRA sticker in the lower left side of the front winshield. Around here we have local stickers for our cars and those are in the lower left of the winshield. NRA sticker comes first though.
Not yet, because I joined a couple of months ago, and knew my current car wouldn't be around long enough to bother putting them on. (Also why my Ron Paul endorsement is a magnet instead fo a sticker...)
I don't for a few reasons. One is because, over time, they fade, crack and peel and I hate having to get them off afterward. Second, I, like was said before believe that if you need a sticker on your car to get the message across, you're doing something wrong.
I don't like stickers on my truck. I only have the state, military, and oil change sticker on it. I do like to read them though, as I saw this one on the rear window of someone's car while driving behind them on base one day: IF GUNS CAUSE CRIME THEN WOMEN CAUSE PROSTITUTION.
Almost every car or truck I've owned had one on it. My current car has two in the back window, both the basic NRA member and the Life Member. Had them on there in San Diego and never had an issue with anyone, so I don't see why people get all worried about it. When I had one on my Ram back in the late '90s I had someone ask when I was in the Marines (funny thing was I had just got out several months prior) because they just glimpsed the sticker and thought it was the USMC emblem. When I pointed out it was an NRA sticker, they took a closer look, we had a short polite converstion and parted ways.
Oh yeah, I also have several NASCAR emblems on the car and NASCAR license frames. No ones accused me of being a crazy driver or tried to start street racing me.
I'm an NRA and VCDL member. I don't have any of those stickers on my truck or house. Like others have said, I don't want to advertise the fact I have guns. I am not ashamed or hiding the fact, I just don't want some idiot breaking into my truck thinking "free gun" when I'm not around.
There was a study a few weeks ago that showed that those with bumper stickers were more likely to be an aggressive driver (including the Jesus bumper stickers)
I don't. I would really like to, but two things prevent me. 1. I've never had a bumper sticker on any of my cars ever. I don't like the look. 2. Since I park in my driveway, I don't want to advertise to would-be burglars that I have guns in my house.
I would, but believe that that would make my car/address more of a "target" for would-be criminals ("Hey, that guy must have guns!") and idiot antis who would key my car (which I just recently got repainted due to splotching of the factory original paint job).
It's due to where I live, not my feelings on the matter.
