"You can get this Frankfort Brass Polish from Midway specifically designed to clean cartridge cases 32oz for $22. The stuff has an orange base cleaner as well as a wax and polish. I picked up a bottle 5 or 6 years ago and it still has a 3rd left. I add it to pet store walnut shell or fine ground corn cob. I keep the Nu-finish for my car."
Tbat's $11.50 for 16 ounces vs. $7.00 for 20 ounces for Nu Finish at Target when you do the math and tax from Target is less than what Midway charges on shipping by a good bit.
In addition, the Midway stuff tends to dry out and doesn't work as well as the Nu Finish does. I used to use the Midway polish, but switched to Nu Finish because it's cheaper, works better, is less expensive than the Midway polish, plus I can use it to polish my car.
"I have been very happy using "Dillon Rapid Polish 290" in corncob media. I pick it up at my local gun shop for $8.50 a bottle.
I use a couple of cap fulls per batch of brass and a bottle seems to last a good long while.
My brass comes out clean and really shinny."
The Dillon costs $8.50 for 8 ounces. The Nu Finish is $7.00 for 20 ounces at Target and does as good or better job than the Dillon polish, as it slicks up the brass a bit, making it easier to run through the press.
You guys are spending more and aren't getting more. I know this, because I tried and used both those polishes before switching to the Nu Finish. I'm glad I did.

Dave
