NutNFancy - Sig P250 - "Hall of Fame" Gun

I just traded for a new Sig P250 .40 subcompact. This is the 5th pistol I've owned. Two revolvers, a Mak 9mm and a colt 1911. This is the only DAO simi-auto that I have owned and I've only put one box of shells through it.The fit is nice but not as nice as the 1911. I like the way it breaks down and the fire controll assembly makes cleaning easy. I was more than satisfied with it's accuracy considering it is a subcompact. Even being brand new it cycled and fed perfectly, at least for the 50 rounds that it has put down range. Until I get 1000 rounds through it I won't know if it is reliable or not but so far I like what I see. I thought that the DAO trigger would give me some trouble but it didn't bother me much as I don't shoot a weapon like this for pin point acuracy but staying in the kill zone was no problem at all from 30 feet and closer. If there are no reliability issues I think this weapon will do fine for what it is designed for, SD.

I own a P250 .45 compact and think it's a great gun. I get so tired of people bringing up the point of government agencies not adopting guns. Who cares? If the gun suits you and works well that is good enough. I don't care how many agencies have tested or carry a particular model.

The Sig P250 is a 'Hall of Fame' Gun? lol

I wouldn't put too much stock in what good ole Richard has to say about anything. This from the same guy who will blabber on for 40 minutes about a particular firearm, only to tell you near the end of the video that he has never actually fired the weapon. But, of course, he knows everything about said weapon just by looking at it. Oh, and handling it for a few minutes...

The "Flop" hall of fame is more like it---with "nut" being the operative word in his name.

I couldn't even get fired up about the kit Cabelas had with 2 frames-2 barrels and 2 slides for $550.

If it had a regular SA~DA trigger --maybe. As it is now-no way.

Definately not a hall of fame sort of gun by any means. Don't know and don't care what nutnfancy thinks- although he is entitled to raise his voice for or against as he wishes.

DAO concept is little unclear. Why was there need to remove SA component of the mechanism.

Most guns that NutNfancy boy reviews are borrowed or the ones he has never fired.

I gotta agree. It is incredibly accurate...almost weird how easy it is to shoot and hit the x ring from 20' away. I couldn't hit crap with my 229 but the 250 is unreal.

I love the trigger. Its basically a really smooth 13 round revolver to me.

In a word the DAO trigger is for safety.

P250 in a Hall of Fame?????????????!!!!! Hall of Shame maybe especially when you examine SIG's responses to the various agencies that tested it and found in lacking. (How do you shoot a gun so fast that it causes it to fail?)
AH- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
And I mean that in the nicest way possible

I think Sig sent him something extra special for such a nice endorsement.
Send him a rock and $200 and it will be the best rock available.
You have to remember he is in this for the $, it is his job.

When I first got on youtube I came across his stuff and watched many of them. I unsubscribed years ago as it was clear TheNutNFancyPROJECT or TNP is a business. I mean good grief he sells autographed targets he has shot!

One guy on the TNP Facebook page posted about how great the pistol is and it deserved to be the hall of fame gun. A month or two later and he posted a picture about the P250's recoil spring starting to fray and break. It wasn't so great then.
