Ruger: SR9c looks nice, fits my hand pretty well, but hearing all kinds of horror stories about them. Do they have reliability issues?
My SR9c has been good so far. The accuracy is excellent for its size. They do come from the factory with grease in the striker area. I cleaned this out before shooting it. Got to wonder if this doesn't have to do with the reports of light primer strikes.

Another one I like lately is the CZ P-07 Duty. Mine shoots very well.

While I like the ergonomics of the M&P a lot. The trigger on mine was a big disappointment out of the box. As was the loose fitting slide. I don't think I've bought a pistol since the 80s they had such a sloppy fitted slide.

What is about the grip safety on the XD that you hate? I have two XDs and the only time I realize they have a grip safety is when I am looking at them.

I highly suggest the S&W M&P9c. Its a great all around shooter and very reliable. Fantastic ergos. I regret selling mine for a 1911, which I eventually sold also. I think I'll end up buying it back from a friend.

I never get tired of saying this: Go to Top Gun Supply's website and find the CZ P-01. Yes, it is alloy so not quite as light as the polymers, but believe me, it will more than make up for it. I don't like the rail personally so I have a PCR. I'm sure the P-01 shoots every bit as wonderfully...
