NY Ban / Moving

So it appears that Cuomo wants to ram more gun-control laws down our throats. I happen to be in the position that I'm planning on moving south (to NC) as soon as we sell our home.

Having said that, it's possible that NY outlaws "military style" weapons such as my Beretta CX4 Storm and my yet to be received NY-neutered Daniel Defense M4v7 (ordered it 4 days before Sandy Hook event.)

So my question is...if a ban/confiscation happens, is there anywhere I can legally 'jail' my rifles until I leave NY State?

I didn't think they would hold them for months. It's winter...could be summer before we move based on winter/soft-housing market.

if you offer to pay a storage fee, they might not have a problem.

you can probally find a ffl on this board that will hold them till you are ready even if they are not in nc it only cost like $20 for them to shipit to your ffl when you are ready
