This proposed bill would prohibit those convicted of Misdemeanor hate crimes in NY from possession firearms.

The bill indicates that other ststes like MN (my state) have similar laws already on the books. I can't find such a law, but I prolly don't know where to look.

A misdemeanor hate crime can be referring to someone using an ethnic slur in some states. Just a start as far as NY liberals are concerned. If they had their way you couldn't possess a firearm if you got a overtime parking ticket. It would indicate a lack of responsibility as far as they were concerned.
