So a few minutes ago, I was sitting in my chair in the living room, and I asked my fiancee (who was up already) to grab me two magazines (Fangoria and Rue Morgue to be exact) off of our hall table and bring them to me.

She went to the table, looked around and comes back with a puzzled look on her face, and no magazines.

"Are they not there?" I ask. "No, I didn't see them." I shrug, no big deal. I must have put them somewhere else.

As we're walking upstair just now, I glance at the hall table and see the two magazines sitting on the table. She looks at the same time, and suddenly gets an embarrassed look on her face.

"Oh, you meant those magazines! I didn't even see them! I thought you meant like for your pistol, I must have not been paying attention!"

Lol.

Gotta love a girl who jumps to those kind of conclusions. :D

So yea, that's it. Just thought ya'll might get a kick out of the situation. :)

you should head down to the courthouse tomorrow and marry her, shes too good to let get away

Couple of weeks ago I had laid a empty 1911 magazine on the end table next to my chair. I asked my wife to "hand me that magazine" she asked which one and I said the pistol magazine so she handed me my copy of Handguns magazine.

Don't worry, she's not getting away. We're getting married in 2010, once I finish my degree.

Just had to post about it - it's one of those things that makes you laugh, but also makes you feel oddly proud at the same time, ya know?

Omaney - Don't get me started.

Hanno - No, she doesn't have a problem with it as far as I know. In fact, we were out the other day with a friend (who has expressed interest in going shooting with us for her first time as soon as it gets a little warmer) and my girl reminded me that she needs to learn how to clean her revolver, (S&W 642) since she hasn't done it yet.

Yea, she's a keeper. ;)
