Ohio's Attorney General released the 2004 Ohio Concealed Handgun Law Report today. Available here - http://www.ag.state.oh.us/press_releases/2005/pr20050301.htm
Local news stations are reporting that the number of issued Ohio CCW licenses are lower than expected. To their credit, they also reported that one local sheriff (Greene county) admitted that there were fewer problems than were expected (we knew that).
I know a few people myself that have not yet obtained their license because they don't like certain aspects of the law. I hope anyone reading this that feels that way would reconsider, get the training and get the license. There really is strength in numbers, and the more licenses that are issued, the greater the probablility of getting the law changed for the better.
OFCC's website - http://www.ohioccw.org/ has more coverage and some good links for emailing your government officials.
