Glad I got my CETME, I'm getting AK kits, a cousin of mine finished a M64 for just over $400 (like 412 in change), I got a Romy G coming in with receiver and trunnions for just around $420 (no pot jokes please). I'd tell you where to get them but I'm still trying to choose between a Galil and getting and picking up more AK kits. FAL kits are ridiculously expensive and if you can find a complete rifle for under $800 you are better off.

I'm waiting for January when folks need to make car and house payments to pickup some deals. Thanks to getting 745 shares of Citi at 4.03 and selling at 6.01 I've got $800 I spend without worry and will be stashing and adding to it for January. "Hey, oh is that an AR-15, you'd like 900$ wow hey yeah I'd like to swing that but I only brought $700 with me, that's all I got, oh you think you could get more for it from a gunshop well good luck then <as I walk away with the cash> and he gets ready to accept." Then again I might just get a kit and call it a day. There are a lot of good kits out there where you can complete an AR for $700 if you shop around. I'm just not the biggest fan of ARs unfortunately. If I need to do give inch groups at 300 yards I'll stick with my scoped mauser. I really want to get a semi in 7.62x54R

I saw three SIG 556 Commando models for sale locally... for $2200.00 each. Yes, really.

I can understand the desire to own one of these with what could happen in a few months, but does anyone think those are reasonable prices before there's any real legislation pending?

Eh, slower reload speed, stock heaviness, BUT MY FULL LENGTH RIFLE IS HANDIER THAN YOUR CARBINE!!! HA! HAHAHAHAH!! AHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

And the TAR 21 is just sexy. :)

I've had something better all along!!
