Even though it may be a dream- I want to make it known what was thought, what was heard and discussed.

I want it known that its been requested ( I know that a FOI might be used, and will be attempted) but this is something that all of america can acknowledge and assist in.

He HAS to acknowledge it, one way or the other if we succeed. If they refuse to release, thats just one more tool we can use.

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Disclose all minutes and entire collection of notes concerning gun control.
Please release all of the official and unofficial notes, minutes, discussions, and text data accumulated by the oval office and reviewed by the President of the United States in regards to gun control between the periods of November 1st 2012 to January 19th, 2013.

Release these notes, minutes, discussions, and text data in a public viewable text on the whitehouse.gov home page No later than March 31st 2013.

This is just one more thing that we can do.

If a deathstar warrants a response- hopefully this does too.........

If this isn't activism, fine. I'll find another way- but please move it to where you think its relevant.

You need to file an FOI on this instead of essentially saying we'd like someone to file an FOI.

Would it be better to turn that into a letter to email all our elected officials asking they file an FOI?

As a constituent I ask that a Freedom of Information Act Request be made for all minutes, meeting notes, and documents concerning gun control between Nov. 1, 2012 and Jan. 19, 2013.
Please release this information to your constituents no later than March 31st 2013.

Considering that there have been several points of fact misrepresented by the current Administration with respect to the violent crime rates, firearms and firearms owners in the United States this information is vital in helping the legislative branch and the public understand the basis for the misguided and pointless proposal put forth by the Administration to control "gun violence".

I don't think that we should need to file and distribute it ( much like many documents) - I think they should be willing to do it fo us- thats a large portion of the request as listed.

The "intent" is to get enough signatures that they either must do it, or acknowledge that they would require that we do so publicly- publicly adding another level of opaque crap between what they dont want us to see, and what we're entitled to.

If the "new rules and orders" can be front page news- the parts they want us to see, without an FOIA request- the rest should be too.
