Pietta .44 Brass colt copy cap n' ball revolver
.22 H&R revolver---which was later traded for a .25 acp Titan.
Recently picked up a .32 Forehand Arms Co. da revolver.

1) Saiga 7.62x39
2) Savage 30-06
3) H&R 12guage
4) Ruger SR9

Despite this, I still think I came out ahead fiscally by puting my money into guns instead of a girl.

As near as I can figure, around 16. Only 9 are still here: 4 handguns and 5 long guns. I'm not including the 1911 that I have on layaway and don't expect to be able to retrieve until next year. :uhoh:

Six for me

All handguns; all but one revolvers.

You have to understand, I was moving during this period and couldn't establish residence in my new home state to buy anything.

I'll do better next year, honest.

It's been a big and expensive year for me.

PTR

just bought a new PTR91 @the end of this year but also sold 1 other high end rifle

My total right now is 1 a used Remington 870 that I sold this week, in theory that money is suppose to buy me a new LCP but I have not bought the LCP and it might not happen until after Christmas so my total might stay at one or get bumped up to 2.

-2
Sold- Para 7.45 CCO,Glock23,Glock27,Glock30,Bersa 380cc and IJ-70 Mak 380.
Bought- M&P 9c, M&P 45c,Colt Defender Plus and Ruger Sp101.

Bought all the ones on my most desired list for a total of 4 and only one more rifle to go and I am done! Woo Hoo! New unfired in box Colt Python, Colt Diamondback, Marlin 1894, and S&W mod 41. Now all I have to do is get another 77/22 mk II like the others with a Boyds thumbhole and I am done!

Just getting warmed up and into the hobby/obsession/illness, so only 5 this year.

Mosin Nagant M38 carbine
Mosin Nagant 91/30 ex-dragoon (1927)
Mosin Nagant 91/30 hex laminated (1934) - to use while I fix the burr/action problem on the other 91/30
Auto Ordnance reproduction M1 carbine (half price, barely used, couldn't pass it up)
S&W Model 66-2 .357/.38 (beautiful condition, lightly used)

And lots, and lots, and lots .... of ammo. Mostly handgun - we here in Kal-ee-forn-iya now face the prospect of no more internet sales of handgun ammo.

So 2011 will be about getting into reloading - and buying a 1911. And a USGI M1 carbine. And maybe a Garand from CMP. And maybe a CZ SP-01, and a CZ 455 .22, and a snubby .38, and ....

I've got two so far:
Marlin Model 60
Rock River AR-15

I'm gonna try to grab a Savage in 7mm-08 within the next week or so! And if I had the cash, a Mossberg 12ga....one can dream.

Suffice it merely to say I'm getting good quality, because I intend to keep what I buy. My personal selections will rarely influence other's choices, IMO.

I'm a little surprised at how many people are AGAINST gun registration, yet piss away their rights to privacy by openly publishing their gun inventory on the internet, sometimes with pictures?

ANYBODY ever wonder who's posting all these "tell us about your guns" threads?:scrutiny:

Disturbing news

I was having work done on my house so I took my guns out on my boat so they wouldn't get stolen and the boat capsized. I was able to save the boat but the guns fell to the bottom of the sea........

I didn't buy any guns in 2010; didn't have to. I won a Springfield Armory XDm 9mm. What a great gun this has turned out to be. I have carried, competed with and shot 1911's for many years. Oh sure, I tried tupperware from time to time, but never really liked the feel or the accuracy. After winning the XDm, I decided to give it a real try. The trigger took a lot of getting used to. I thought the gun shot low and left when I first got her, but I decided that maybe it was me pushing the trigger rather than pulling straight back. Lots of ammo later, either the gun is getting more accurate or I am. Although not as accurate beyond 15 yards as my best 1911, I really like this gun.
A note regarding reliability: When I got her, I went to Cabela's and bought several boxes of every 9mm ammo they had in stock. Not only did she shoot every round, including a friend's handloads, but so far she has never missed a beat*. (I stopped counting at 3,000+ rounds.)
*The gun is on it's 3rd striker retaining pin. The first one broke, the second kept working its way upward and I am keeping an eye on this one. And yes, I do a lot of dry firing.
