About 16 years ago I bought 8# of Accurate 2200 Data Powder in response to a closeout flyer that touted how good it was for reloading .223 Remington and 7.62x39. So for $48 ($6/pound) I gave it a try and they were right; I was very pleased. I’ve lost the data sheet that was supplied with the powder, but I remember it pushed a .223 55grain fmj bullet at approximately 3200 fps out of a 20” barrel with good accuracy. I bought a lot more and I still have a bunch left, but I need the data sheet to reload 7.62x39.
Accurate has reintroduced a powder they are calling just Accurate 2200. I looked at Accurate’s data online and it looks the same, but I’m not really positive. Does anyone know for sure if the new data will apply to my old stuff? Thanks….. Doc
