Are there any good sources for me to check on the value of what it is that I have?
I am going though much of what I have accumulated over the years and discovered older brands of .22 rim fire and also some center fire rounds that include complete boxes from the early 60's.
Prior to shooting them or if not shootable disposing of, is there likely to be any value to them. I did speak to someone locally that was buying up such things in .22 rimfire, but it seemed what was still shootable was not worth my trouble to sell. If I decide to shoot the ammo up i will save the boxes since the collector seemed more interested in that than anything else.

Thanks Scooter22. I can already see from the links that some of the more common ammo that I have is worth something.
Too bad I shot up part of a brick of old .22 rem longs. I needed .22 and it worked sort ok in a target pistol that I had.

Collectors usually only want full boxes or however they came from the factory of rimfire stuff. Some center fire cartridges are collectable as singles, but usually not from the 60's.
Not many target pistols made in .22 Long.

But if you read what I said it sort of worked. It is possible sometimes to get a .22 long to work since the dimensions are close enough and a pistol intended for low velocity .22 LR may still function with high velocity longs. I have one that will. In my case it did, but loading the magazines was tricky. In you have not noticed there is a shortage of .22 LR and some of us were quite low in our ammo stocks and where shooting everything we had. I got a yrs supply now on hand or that is ~5000 rnds for 90 rounds a week to fire a 900 bullsyeye match at my club. I will try to buy more since with the upcoming election more of this insanity will start anew to send the hoarders out once more.

there is a bunch of them , and I can't think of a one  what you can do is a search for some old obscure rounds , and some web sites will pop up ,I found some when i was looking for 32Rem. , also try searching "vintage ammo" under images , then look for pictures of what you have
