I was cleaning out some old reloading stuff and came across a couple boxes of 7MM 160 grain Nosler partition bullets. These were purchased in the early 70's by a now deceased friend in preparation for an elk hunt. As I remember he used a 7x61 Sharpe & Hart in a custom 98 Mauser and was successful. Anyway, the jacket alloy on these old bullets seems to have more a color of brass than copper and they have machine marks on them as though they were turned on a lathe. How does the accuracy of these older generation Noslers compare with those that are currently manufactured? Just curious.
