Hello friends, I hope you're all having a great day and all staying safe.
I was hoping to tap into the collective knowledge of you all to help solve a predicament in which I find myself stuck. My father had an old stevens 124A cross bolt shotgun that was broken in two from the day he got it (out with a friend, stuff happened, friends offered it to him because the effort of repair). Well, my father never ended up fixing it and somewhere along the way the stock bolt was lost. I'm trying to find a suitable replacement but I cannot find a bolt with the right pitch of threads. Anyone know what thread the bolt is?

I did find that, but right now numrich is several months out on orders. I was hoping for something a bit sooner (which good news). My dad is in his seventies right now with parkinsons, and with a virus that is apparently targeting people just like that spreading, i... yeah.

The good news: I figured it out. None of the 1/4 bolt pitches were working because its an m6 bolt.

Edit: but thank you for the effort cvans! I appreciate you taking time to look it up.

You got it figured out OK and that's good.
Can understand your concerns about your father and hope you can keep him away from the bug.
