Found some old Win. 452AA in the garage a couple of months ago. Loaded up some 45 ACP 4.8 gr. 230 LRN. It turned out to be an extremely accurate load. Problem is, They don’t make it anymore. What is the equivalent powder? Is it completely obsolete, or did another powder company pick it up and rename it?

I did the same some years back. never found an equivalent. 230gr ball shot great, very clean powder.

It is obsolete. The AA powders were replaced by the Super powders like WST and WSF. I believe WST is the closest thing to 452AA.;)

452AA was the powder used in Winchester AA target shells

As far as I know WST is now used for their AA shells
    I still have 2 #'s of 452AA
I like Red Dot better for AA target reloads
