A Squires Bingham 'Thunder Chief' 22LR revolver, available in 4" or 6" 'Python-like' barrels. All steel, amazing lock work - really - very smooth/crisp action/trigger.

A sure head-turner at the range! And did I say they're a HOOT to shoot! BUY ONE ... if you ever see them for sale ...

I vaguely recall the Squires-Bingham name; the ones I saw, personally, weren't too exciting.
With the honest wear, this one looks better than what my memory recalls.

To me it looks sort of Dan Wessony in profile, with target grips added

This is a 3” EWK shroud on a 15-2 with Hogue grips.

Yep, it definitely is Dan Wessony in style which makes me like it. I like the grips also. Trigger finger is always in the same place. It is a shame someone didn't give it a little better care.

I had a Squires-Bingham 22 Rifle many years ago (K-Mart...$49.95 IIRC). Good shooting cheap rifle.

I had no idea they ever manufactured/marketed a revolver.

I have never seen one of those revolvers before, and I thought I'd seen every revolver ever sold, but there's always something new (or old) to be learned.

Out of curiosity, OP, do you mind disclosing how much you paid for this revolver?

Only a couple hundred many years ago.

Armscor now sells this 9-shot model as their ‘AL22’ in 22LR and as an 8-shot ‘AL22M’ in 22 magnum. I am not sure if it uses the same lock work.

I don’t doubt it. The description of the AL9.0 reads like a translation to English from Slavic.



The AL22 doesn’t have a similar description.

My pistol-gripped pump shotgun is a Squires Bingham.
The only pistol-grip 12 gauge shotgun that I've ever fired that was comfortable to shoot.
Big, burly, fist-filling grip.

Amazing where we're getting guns at the moment (Philippines, Turkey, Eastern Europe) , and where we no longer get them (China, Russia).
Many of the current ones are actually quite good.

If I recall, Squires - Bingham was the predecessor to Armscor. Nice find and a good looking revolver.
