I need the contact information for Duncan Koon or Bennett Grayson. The thread on the Omega III's needs to be corrected. There is lots of misinformation floating around on both of these rifles. I need info by PM on this site to contact both before I post what we did at both plants. My information is that I was the gunsmith hired by Homer Koon starting in 1966. There is only a couple of us left and we need to get the record straight on the manufacturing of these rifles.

If anyone has direct contact with the above guys tell them we need to discuss these rifles.

No Interest I supposed

I didn't mean to HI Jack the thread on the Omega's, but some of us are still around that worked on the first models made in Flower Mound, Tx.

I have the answers on WHERE, WHAT, AND WHEN.

Also the RANGER ACTIONs that we made in Gainsville, Tx. The first models were barrelled by me for Homer Koon in Ft Worth, TX.

I would be interested in any information you would be willing to give. I currently own a Hi-Shear .270 and a Flower Mound 25-06. Both are in laminated stocks.

I am working up an outline of things that I remember. When I have this complete I will send it to Duncan Koon. This should be done in a week or two. I hope he writes the book for all to see.

I don't know any thing of the Hi Shear actions. I understand they moved the plant long after I left the company.
