Gents;
My 1st post. I'm not an expert in anything, but a perpetual student of many things, one of which is the tomahawk. I can't afford a proper hawk, but found something that quacked like a duck at Home Depot. I wrestled with it till I could get an edge on it. Now it resides at my side of the bed, paired with an EK dagger (much to my wifes consternation).
Regards Mr. Mclemore's books and DVD, his drawings are legendary, and they are the best training resource I have found. I bought the Big knife and the tomahawk series. I think it's a good investment. Now I just need to find some place to set up a practice area so I don't freak out the neighbors (more then I have already )
I will eventually get a proper belt axe, but for now, this set up will do if I will do.
Regards, Jim
