Take a look at this hilarious auction! Haha. I was browsing through varmint rifles and this mess came up. What's even funnier is the description the guy put! Along with that, the paint job is absolutely horrible!

It looks like death warmed over, but for a shooter, at that price it probably wouldn't be a bad deal. You just wouldn't want your friends to see you with it.

I'm sure it will all come off with a little brake cleaner. It's not like it's the end of the world.

The receiver has been drilled and the bolt handle has been cut off and replaced. The stock has been cut. And, I'll bet the bore is a sewer pipe (they almost always are on jobs like this). The bolt, on an M27, should never be sticky by itself. There's nothing to salvage this rifle to be anything but a shooter. It was once worth a lot. Not any more.

If I had a place to shoot center fire I'd pick it up. Some paint thinner, sand down the stock, re-oil it, clean up the metal parts and you would probably have a great gun.
